2005 Perennial Plant Association Scholarship Program

REQUIREMENTS:

Student should be majoring or minoring in horticulture or a related field.

Student should have at least one quarter or semester remaining following spring 2005.

Student should have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Recipients must attend the 2005 Perennial Plant Symposium. An interest in a career in perennials is preferred but not required.

Applications must be postmarked on or before March 1, 2005.

Statement of Purpose:
On a separate sheet of paper, state briefly why you wish to pursue a career in horticulture. Describe your career goals and how a scholarship will help you meet them. Include your interest and work with herbaceous perennials.

College Transcripts:
Please include a copy of your official college transcript.

Recommendation Letters:
Three letters of recommendation, including one from an academic advisor explaining your interest in horticulture and perennials, and one from a member of the Perennial Plant Association, should be included with the application form.
